This is a beautiful "brick" end grain cutting board made of walnut and maple. It would make any chef proud (and happy) to be on their counter or in their food prep area. As a centerpiece you will be sure to get many comments.
Why end grain? End grain boards are the most forgiving on knives and protecting the edge. They are easy to maintain and show fewer knife marks.
This piece measures 14 x 13.5 x 1.5 in. but can be made to just about any size. It can also be made into a counter top of various size and depths.
The piece is made of walnut and maple and finished with food grade mineral oil. Maintaining the board is as simple as wiping it down after use using water, letting it dry and refinishing with mineral oil periodically. (Full instructions included)
