Cutting board, wooden cutting board, Serving tray, Inlay cutting board, BEM3
A wooden cutting board that you will want to use as a centerpiece. Made of birds eye maple and "inlaid" bubinga strips. The inlay actually goes completely through board and is made using multiple thin strips to get the curvature. Perfect for serving wine and cheese, crackers or as that unique center piece. Great as a gift for the holidays, weddings, birthdays or as for your own use.
Finished piece is approximately 17 x 12 x 3/4 inches
Care for the board
Board is made to last a lifetime (yours). (We just refinished two boards made forty years ago that look brand new.) The wood is finished with at least three coats of food grade mineral oil. Made to be wiped down but not immersed in water or dishwasher. Refinishing with oil on a periodic basis will restore the original beauty.
All of our products are made from hand selected hard or soft woods. They are cut, glued, routed, drilled, sanded and sealed to show off the individual characteristics of each piece of wood. As no two trees are the same neither are any of our products. Certain knots, holes or other unique characteristics of the wood may be present, enhancing its beauty.
We would like you to be as excited about your piece as we were to make it. If in the first seven days you are not satisfied, please return it to us for a full refund of the piece (minus shipping).
Custom orders will be charged a 20% fee if returned. As each piece is unique, and because of the nature of wood, knots, holes, and color variations may be present.
Your satisfaction is our number one goal. If you receive a piece that is damaged please contact us and return it as soon as possible. We will work with you to refund your money and/or send a similar piece. Any use or obvious user damage negates this offer.
If over time your piece needs to be refinished, contact us to either ship it back for refinishing or to explain what we would recommend. If returned, the shipping costs will be at your expense plus a fee to refinish. When done, in most cases, the piece will look like the day you first saw it.
Wood products should not be left submerged or exposed to water. They can be wiped down and dried with a damp cloth. Excess water will damage the wood.
To restore the product to its original state (minus scratches) simply rub the piece with a food grade mineral oil.
