Cutting board, wood cutting board, chopping block, butcher block, PM1

This is a beautiful end grain cutting board made of paduak and maple. It would make any chef proud (and happy) to be on their counter or in their food prep area. As a centerpiece you will be sure to get many comments.

Why end grain? End grain boards are the most forgiving on knives and protecting the edge. They are easy to maintain and show fewer knife marks.

This piece measures 14 x 13.5 x 1.5 in. but can be made to just about any size. It can also be made into a counter top of various size and depths.

The piece is made of padauk and maple and finished with food grade mineral oil. Maintaining the board is as simple as wiping it down after use using water, letting it dry and refinishing with mineral oil periodically. (Full instructions included)

Wood products should not be left submerged or exposed to water. They can be wiped down and dried with a damp cloth. Excess water will damage the wood.
